What’s included in the rates
All our rates include unlimited mileage, comprehensive insurance, breakdown recovery,
airport surcharges, and the standard local taxes.
What isn’t included in the rates
Special request items such as a roof rack, child seat, delivery
charges, out of hour’s charges etc. are all payable
locally if applicable. All petrol / fuel and any traffic and parking
fines incurred are the sole responsibility of the driver. To keep our
rates as low as possible, Personal accident insurance (PAI) is also
excluded; as this is normally included within your travel insurance
policy…why pay twice for the same thing! Don’t worry
if you don't have travel insurance as you will be offered PAI when
you collect your car and this will be payable locally.
Optional extras
Child seats, roof racks, ski racks, snow chains, snow tyres etc.
are available in most locations and must be paid for locally. These
must be requested when booking your vehicle. However,

It’s vital that you enter your flight number if you are going to
be collecting your vehicle at an airport. If you don’t know your

Reservations, at least 7 days before departure. If we don’t have the
right details a week before your collection date, we cannot accept any responsibility if your
vehicle is unavailable due to your flight being delayed.

cover the contents of the car in the event of theft, lost or damaged
keys, or damage to tyres and windscreens.
Driving licences
Anyone wishing to drive the rental car, must produce a full National
driving licence (an International Driving Permit is required in some countries)
which has been held for at least 2-3 years depending on the
Country of Hire. Click here for a summary. Certain
types of endorsements can also prevent you from driving a rental
car; we must be informed about these beforehand, as cancelled rentals
due to non-production of the licence or non-disclosed endorsements
will not be refunded. Please note that you will need to take ALL

these must be originals since faxed or photocopied licences are not deemed to be
acceptable abroad.
Additional drivers
Some locations charge locally for any additional drivers.

it is OK if you are aged between 25 and 65 years old and satisfy

guidance only and we reserve the right to substitute it with another
similar vehicle.
Delivery & collection
Normally, your car should be picked up at the airport
or at the local suppliers office. In some locations, it is possible
to have your car delivered to a local office or to your hotel,
for a small fee which is payable locally.
Out of hours’ charges
We may be able to arrange for you to pick up your car
at your chosen destinations out of office hours. However, this attracts a small fee
which is payable locally. Please also note that if your flight is
delayed, and this results in you collecting your car out of hours,
this charge will still apply.
Deposits & Petrol
Most of our suppliers require you to produce a valid
credit card in the name of the driver as a form of deposit. This
is to cover any depletion in petrol and other charges. Please also
check the fuel policy when you pick up your car, some suppliers
provide a full tank, which must be returned full, others provide
a full tank which must be returned empty. Please confirm the policy when picking up your car.
Quality Control
If you are not satisfied with the standard of the
car upon collection, you must report this to the local supplier
immediately and inform us in writing within 7 days of your return.
If this procedure is not followed, we will not be in a position to
consider any resulting claims.
If the rental vehicle has any mechanical problems this should also
be reported to the local supplier immediately and authority to repair
or replace the vehicle should be obtained from them. The local
suppliers name, address and phone number will be included on your
voucher. Compensation will not be considered unless this procedure
is followed.
Accidents
If the rental vehicle is involved in an accident,
again this should be reported to the local supplier immediately.
You must obtain full details of any third parties involved, inform
the local Police and obtain a signed Police Report from them and
complete an accident report form by the end of the hire period.
You should also retain copies of all your rental documents if an
insurance company becomes involved.
Provision of vehicles
Our local suppliers can refuse to provide you with
a vehicle if in their reasonable opinion, the driver is unfit to
drive or does not meet the eligibility requirements. In these cases,
your contract with us is immediately terminated and no refunds will be made.
Driving restrictions
If you are planning on crossing country borders, certain
restrictions may apply. In particular, additional insurance may
be required which is charged locally, please mention this to the local supplier when collecting your vehicle.
Hire periods
The charges quoted are based on the pick up and drop
off times entered. No refunds will be given if you collect your
vehicle late, end the hire early or voluntarily downgrade your car
unless this has been amended with us prior to your departure. If
you miss the return deadline or decide to extend the booking after
collection, the supplier may charge you locally at their daily rate which may be higher than ours.
